Dreams are considered a portal to the unconscious. By the unconscious, I refer to the human psyche consisting of consciousness, personal unconscious, and the collective unconscious, as referenced by Carl Jung, father of analytical psychology. Dreamwork bridges the conscious and the unconscious, the upperworld with the underworld where the language of dreams speaks through symbols and images, and our path to individuation awakens. Dream images are to be tended, as we would tend to ourselves, or to our friends, and in hosting their presence, realize that these images are as real as we are, as alive, and evolving in their own way. Connecting with dream figures through writing, art, movement, imagination, and community sharing, we help keep the dream alive, not only personally but professionally. Individuals, families, communities, organizations, and corporations all have dreams. In keeping the dream alive, we breathe life into the cosmos.

Connection is the heartbeat of my topic. Dreams connect body and soul, the unconscious with consciousness, the collective with the individual, and through wonderment and curiosity in working with the dream image, healing unfolds. Everyone is welcome!
