Hello … I am your event planning manager for STIA 2013! I look forward to bringing to life the vision of a community conference in which attendees experience meaningful connections which lead to positive change. In my daily life, there is a great deal of use for powerful connections and better use of change agents in the workplace. I own and operate a medical clinic, working as a gynecologist and staffing 25 employees. My husband and I also own an audio-visual production company and travel the country together producing successful events. Conference planning is what I do for fun, aside from being a mother of three very active teenagers!

What draws you to the STIA conference?

As a past planner for STIA, I was asked to help create a new and different approach to this conference. I love a challenge and enjoy creating unique events for the enjoyment of others.

What are you hoping to experience?

I am hoping to see a group of individuals come together on day one of this conference, and through common passion and a desire for learning, emerge a connected community.

What are you most passionate about?

Because my life's work is in patient healthcare, I would say I am most passionate about helping others in need. This quest transfers to my family and friends, peer associates and to my community.

How do you see transformation occurring from this conference?

I see transformation occurring through true attendee dedication to achieving their goals.

What’s your bigger vision?

My bigger vision is to grow the conferencing of this connected community to a nationwide, global experience.

What needs to happen for you to evaluate this STIA+ experience as a success?

Conference attendees need to express their enjoyment and the end-client needs to feel fulfilled in his conference goals.
